Western China, dim sum Hannam-dong

We have a dim sum restaurant close to where we live. I have walked past it many times but never really wanted to try it. I love dim sum if it´s great. Yauatcha in London is one of the best dining experiences i have had. And i have eaten lots of bad dim sum as well.
But this was acctually pretty good. The shrimp dunpling was not something i would order again, but i ordered one more portion of soup dumplings. I will go back to try some more stuff. 3/5

Goo stk 733 Hannam-dong

Goo stk 733 is a really good steak house in Itaewon, they also have an other location in Apguejong, close to Garosu-gil. They specialize in dry aged american beef, and i must say that they do it really really well. But in Korea quality beef cost a lot of money, and at this restaurant it´s not any different. A dinner for 2 with appetizers and wine will do you close to half a million krw. But it´s worth it if you don´t go there once a week. The wine list is exellent and the service as well. A great evening 4/5

Prawns and black pepper

Grilled prawns with black pepper sauce, was probably the best dish we had in Vietnam,
earlier this year.
So i got some prawns at home and decided to do it myself. I also made a glass noodle salad with chicken that i first grilled and then chopped in to small pieces.

Crispy pork belly, braised Pak choi

I often make pork belly, it´s easy and you can just leave it in the oven over night. And it always taste fantastic. This time i decided to pan fry the pork and make some Pak Choi that i braised in soy, ginger, garlic and Gochjang. Its really quick and simple but amazing.
