Gumsoo Bokgook Fugu restaurant Sinsa-dong

I have been wanting to try Fugu for a very long time, and now i have. My friend Rachel took me to this 3 floor Fugu place in Sinsa. Apparently there are only a handful of restaurants that are certified to serve Fugu. This place does Fugu in many many ways.
We had Fugu 2 ways, deep fried and a soup. It was a lot of fish and it was really good, next time i´ll go for the sashimi. My friend Rachel said that the Fugu soup is very good for curing hangovers. The broth was amazing, very clear and with a very delicate flavor and lots of bean sprouts and bitter greens. A really great soup.
The fried fish was soo good, it had the texture of a very meaty Mackerell but very white in the flesh.we got whole fried tail, and fillet, one with spicy sauce and one plain. The side dishes was also very good as usual in Korea. Korean style Fugu is something i´ll will have a lot i think.

Gamjatang. At 24h Gamjatang Hannam-dong

I have been on holiday in Sweden for a couple of weeks. It has been much inspiring food wise. But after a couple of weeks i started to have cravings for Korean food, so as soon as we got back so Seoul, i went outto get me some Gamjatang or Pork bone soup. It is a fantastic soup with big chunks of meat, pieces of potato and lots of onions and herbs. It is seasoned with wild sesame seeds witch gives it a fantastic taste. The restaurant is called 24 h Gamjatang and is open 24/7. I really love this place for 6000krw you get an amazing meal, thats about 6$.
